FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

If there is anything you need to know about us or our services that isn’t covered here, then please contact us.

Do you provide a self drive service ?

No our service comes with a driver at all times, we can either stay with you for the duration of your trip (at an additional cost) or we will deliver to your destination and return at the required time for the return journey.

How many seats do your buses have ?

We have 8, 12, 14 and 16 seater buses – for more about our buses see our vehicles page.

Do you provide a trailer service ?

We have a trailer that can be supplied for luggage or any bulky equipment needed for travel, this will be at an additional charge.

What type of payments do you accept ?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Switch, American Express and Delta (Details will be taken over the phone, DO NOT send by email).

Cheque – please make payable to JG Minibuses.

Cash – Outward and return journeys to be paid on outward trip on the day of travel.

What licences do your drivers hold ?

All our drivers hold a D1 requirement for driving up to a 16 seater minibus for hire or reward.

Do you have the correct Licences for operating a passenger carrying service ?

All buses are covered by an operators licence held by Jason Gorey, Proprietor.

Are you a member of a breakdown service ?

We have full membership with the AA with roadside assistance and guaranteed relay of all passengers in unlikely event of a vehicle breakdown.

What guarantees do you offer in the unlikelihood of a breakdown for relocation ?

We have purchased additional cover from the AA for passenger relocation.

How often are your buses serviced ?

Each bus under goes a full PSV maintenance check and service every 10 weeks.

What insurance do you have ?

We have fully comprehensive insurance and 2 million pounds worth of public liability insurance on each bus.

How old are your vehicles ?

Our vehicles have been registered from late 2007 with new additions to the fleet each year.

Do you have a current police check ?

All drivers hold a current CRB enhanced police record check.

Where are you based ?

We are based in Carlton Nottingham, but run a national service.
